Maid of Honor
Caitlin and I became best friends in elementary school. Though we are opposites in many ways, our friendship has remained as unchanging as our shared love of Netflix and sweatpants.
Bridesmaid
Kay has been my unofficial "little sister" from the beginning. So much so that I even locked her in my dark basement once on purpose--she's never let me forget it. We've been stuck together since day one, and I wouldn't have had it any other way!
Bridesmaid
Lana was my "bus buddy" in elementary school. It was a quick friendship built on a daily exchange: her Doritos for playing time on my DS. I'd say her lasting friendship was the best part of the deal!
Bridesmaid
Lexie and I first met at college. We were both nursing majors and quickly bonded over the stress and trauma of nursing school. She made me laugh until I cried---I made Quizlets. We were perfect for each other!
Best Man
I am so thankful for the influence my dad has had on me. He has been faithful to God and his family no matter what life has brought his way. He is a hard worker, proficient mechanic, skilled movie quoter, and a great father. I am honored to have him as my best man for the wedding.
Groomsman
My cousin Michael and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. As kids, we pretended to be double agents, went bodyboarding, and had a blast at summer camps. Now, we love to read, preach, and talk theology together (and occasionally play Mario Kart 64). He has been instrumental in my meeting and marrying Emily, and I can't thank him enough for it.
Groomsman
Weston has been a daredevil since he was a toddler. Give him something with two wheels, and he will give even Evel Knievel a run for his money. Though he loved to annoy me as a little brother, Weston has greatly improved with age. An outdoors type, he enjoys shooting guns, hunting, and skinning animal hides; however, he also have a sweet and caring side. I enjoy playing euchre and shooting with him, and look forward to having him in my wedding party.
Groomsman
Jacob became my older brother when my dad remarried after my first mother's passing. He taught me who Arnold Schwarzenegger was, and also what wedgies and air soft torture feel like. He shares my interest in video games, electronics, and funny Facebook memes. I'm glad to have him as one of my groomsmen.
