The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception will all take place at The Mackey House. The estate is located less than a 15 minute drive from historical downtown Savannah. For your convenience, we are providing trolley transportation to and from The Mackey House for ALL wedding guests. The pickup location is at The Alida Hotel in the river district. The Mackey House estate is located less than 15 minutes from downtown Savannah. We are providing trolley transportation for ALL wedding guests to and from the Mackey House. The pick up and drop off location is at The Alida Hotel in the river district. The trolleys will arrive at The Alida at 3:20pm. The trolleys will begin loading for departure at 3:30pm. Please plan accordingly as the last trolley will leave promptly at 3:45pm. Complementary water and lemonade will be provided in the hotel lobby for guests to enjoy as they wait for the trolleys.
This is our Host Hotel for the wedding weekend. The Brunswick & Lopez families will be staying at The Alida in the river district. Rooms can be reserved using the link located under the "Travel" tab. While guests are encouraged to stay at The Alida, Savannah offers an abundance of boutique hotels, bed & breakfasts, and a variety of other accommodations. A midi or maxi dress in a floral print or a lovely pastel shade is a classic choice. Remember, you'll be outdoors, so choose fabrics that are breathable and comfortable. For men, a light-colored suit or blazer could be the ticket. A well-tailored suit in a light color is a great choice. Think beige, light grey/blue, or even pastel shades. After the reception, keep the celebration going with us at the Electric Moon Skytop Lounge & Moon Deck, located on the rooftop of the JW Marriott. The trolley will conveniently drop guests off at the front entrance of The Alida Hotel. The JW Marriott is conveniently located across the street from The Alida Hotel so you don’t have to travel far after a night out celebrating.
The Welcome Party will be on the rooftop at The Alida Hotel on June 4th from 7:30-10:00pm. After dinner, join us on the rooftop to kickoff the wedding events with light bites, desserts, & cocktails. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!
