It started with a Hinge date in Charlotte during Summer 2020. Emily moved to Charlotte to start her first job after college, and Theo moved back in with his parents because of the pandemic. Our first date was at Sycamore brewing (whoops), and soon we were hanging out every week trying spots around Charlotte or driving up to Hendersonville for weekend trips. After Theo finished his master's program, he joined Emily in moving to Pueblo CO as part of her rotational work program. After a quick stint in OKC where we added Olive to the pack, we decided to move to Denver in 2022. We still can’t settle down and have moved twice in Denver, but we love the city and the mountains. In Summer 2025, we hiked to Island Lake outside Ouray, CO where Theo proposed. It was a proposal to remember, and a trip Emily had been wanting to do for years. We can't wait to celebrate our marriage with all of our family and friends in Emily’s hometown of Atlanta!
