Yes, the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be outside. Please keep in mind it is Florida in April, so the temperature ranges from 60F-80F. Sydonie Mansion also has a bit of a breeze as it is located on the water at the top of the hill so please be mindful when selecting attire.
This event is, strictly, invite only to those addressed on the formal invites. While we love children, this event is 18+ and no kids will be permitted. Absolutely no exceptions.
While we will not be taking live requests during the ceremony, we want everyone to have a great time on the dance floor, so please place any song requests you may have while RSVPing or reach out to Simon and me directly.
The dress code for this event is semi-formal evening wear. Semi-formal evening wear is a polished, dressy look that is less strict than black-tie but more formal than casual or typical semi-formal. For women, this typically means a cocktail or midi dress, more casual floor length dress, dressy jumpsuit or a skirt with an elegant top. For men, it means a suit, sports coat or blazer with a tie or bow tie. Please refrain from any sports branded attire in your button down or ties. Please note, if you wear stiletto heels the venue will provide a cap that must be worn to preserve the floors of the historic mansion.
Mount Dora is a smaller town with bars open late. There are Ubers that can easily get you downtown or if you are staying at the Lakeside Inn or Airbnb it is walkable to bars.
Please RSVP by March 1st, 2026.
Yes and yes! Limited parking is available on site at the front of the mansion. Additionally, we will be providing transportation to and from the hotels listed on this site with pickup starting at 3:00pm to the venue and departing at 10:00pm, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to relax and have a good time.
