COVID UPDATE! We will STILL be getting married on 12/20/2020. BUT, some things have to change because of the times we are in! Look below to see the changes and how they affect you! 1) The ceremony will still begin at 3:00PM (doors open at 2:30PM) in the chapel building at the back of the property. 2) There will unfortunately be no reception following the ceremony. 3) If you still wish to attend the ceremony MASKS ARE REQUIRED ON PROPERTY! 4) There will also be assigned seating (to ensure social distancing) inside of the chapel. You will be led to your seats (where you can sit with your family/group) by our amazing Ushers! 5) After the ceremony is over we will have toasts in the chapel, please stay seated until our phenomenal officiants tell you to its time to stand up! 6) When leaving the ceremony we will be there to greet you (with masks of our own!) and thank you for being a part of our special day. You will also have cake and a wedding favour to take home with you! 7) We WILL HAVE A RECEPTION when COVID decides to calm the heck down, and you will ALL be included in this future date. Stay tuned! 8) If you have RSVP'd Yes, but would prefer to join us from a distance, no hard feelings! Just LET US KNOW! And we will keep you up-to-date with all of our other distance guests! 9) DISTANCE GUESTS: Check the website closer to the time for a video streaming link! You should also receive a guestbook card in the mail which we PLEASE HOPE you will send back! We are binding these cards to create our guestbook that includes EVERYONE! 10) CEREMONY GUESTS: You will fill out the same guestbook cards at the ceremony, just please remember your mask! We cannot wait to see everyone, whether it's on the day, afterwards at the reception (TBD), through social media, or by reading your guestbook cards! Emily worked as a soccer coach at a local club where Sheena's daughter played. They continually ran into each other at the fields after practice where Sheena decided to strike up a conversation. She quickly learned that Emily had a personal space bubble with people she did not know well and quickly decided to test this boundary! It was immediately discovered that she could in fact get Emily to run into a fence whilst distracting her with conversation and moving incrementally closer!! It was upon this anecdote that a friendship was formed.

Sheena and Emily have a history of getting each other the same present on the same occasions, this was no different. On February 21st (Sheena's birthday) Emily met Sheena at work to bring her lunch. Sheena decided to eat in a local park and take a stroll around the lake. It was there where she dropped to one knee and produced a gorgeous ring. Unbeknownst to Sheena, Emily had already purchased a ring and was planning on proposing to Sheena in the near future. After a quick audible Emily decided to wrap up her ring and place them with the other birthday presents Sheena was set to open later that night. After opening the other gifts there was one left with the ring inside, it then became official!
