The 3rd Ward has the famous Milwaukee Public Market for snacks, food and dining - one of our favorite's being St. Paul's Fish Market for an outdoor Tiki Bar! Additional outdoor drinks and dining includes Wicked Hop, Café Benelux, The Outsider Rooftop bar, and so much more. Check out the 3rd Ward link, for more options. The 3rd Ward is a little over a mile from the Hilton, a little under 2 miles from the church and a little over a half a mile to the reception hall, the Pritzlaff.
Milwaukee is home to many local craft breweries alongside the famous Miller Brewery. Checkout a few of our favorites close to the ceremony and reception: Lakefront Brewery (3 min from ceremony) Eagle Park Brewery, Good City, and Third Space Brewing - all within a 5 to 10-minute drive!
Home to our Milwaukee Bucks, the Deer District is full of amazing bars, restaurants and the best local spots. The best part, it's right on your way to the reception! We recommend Deer Camp for a true Wisconsin experience, Drink Wisconsinably for the best Old Fashioneds and views of the Fiserv, and Punch Bowl Social for games and activities. Around the corner, on Old World 3rd Street, you can keep the party going with local historic bars such as: Who's On Third, Milwaukee Brat House, Buck Bradley's and more.
Brady Street is home to many Milwaukee bars, and just so happens to be where we spent most of our early 20s! Located just feet away from the ceremony, Brady Street offers great bars such as: Pete's Pub for great snacks and drinks, Nashville North for our Country music lovers, Jack's American Pub, and Nomad's outdoor patio.
Located just feet away from our reception, Explorium Brew Pub is the best spot for a pre-reception party! With great snacks, great drinks, and local micro-brews, this Brew Pub is the place to be prior to the big party and served us well during wedding planning :)
