Matron of Honor
Kim & Em are the best of friends (wasn't always that way as children, but moving to Texas helped!) and Kim has been patiently waiting for Emily to find "the one". She started writing her speech soon after she met Robert as she had a good feeling about this guy. Kim got married 15 years ago so is ready to show us the ropes!
Bridesmaid
Emily & Casey met at PwC. They lived together in Uptown from 2012-2014 and people STILL talk about the house parties. Our only fight in 15 years was over the air conditioning temperature. Casey will wear Scarlet & Gray for Emily and Emily has been spotted wearing burnt orange for her-- but no one else!
Bridesmaid
Ashley & Emily have been friends since Bernabi days in Spencerport, NY. She was Emily's first penpal when she made the move to TX. From soccer & lacrosse, skiing, floating the river, traveling the world together - the memories are countless. We have been through many ups and downs together and I can't imagine life without her!
Bridesmaid
Ellen was Emily's 1st friend in Boston - she'll never forget their first meet up at Slate. Emily was working at PwC and brought her laptop to the bar. Ellen was a trooper for agreeing to hang out a second time :) From Super bowl parties, Bills games, Cruises (never forget the Cheers program), Aruba, Punta Cana - we are always laughing until we cry!
Bridesmaid
Emily approached Chelsea on the Penthouse of Smith Hall, freshman year 2011. She essentially forced Chelsea to take her under her wing ;) We went on to be roomates for the next 3 years, living in the basement on 12th Ave, known collectively as the "cellar dwellars". We have remained just as close over the years, making an effort to keep the trips & good times rollin'!
Bridesmaid
Meg and Emily met through a mutual friend at OSU. They were inseparable ever since. Meg has flown to visit Emily in Boston & Dallas, and Emily visits Meg in Chicago or takes girls trips to DC/NYC to visit Chelsea. Never a dull moment when this trio gets together!
Bridesmaid
Alex is the sister of the Groom. She's treated Emily like a sister since her first trip to Michigan! Alex is the most fun to be around and is even joining the Clarke/Shaughnessy Jellystone trip this summer - excited for her cooking and fried donuts!
Best Man
I love this man with all my heart. No matter where we reunite, no matter when we talk, he’s always there for me. We met on Sycamore St in East Lansing and he’s been my brother ever since! We enjoy late night gaming sessions these days.
Groomsman
“The one and only DJ Gnarly Jones.” Used to be a weekend resident together. One of the smartest humans I’ve ever met, professor of everything. The only thing I have to say to my man is “to the dunes”.
Groomsman
The very first friend I made at IM West — we met in engineering school (which I wouldn’t have survived, but luckily he did). Since then, we’ve shared more adventures, festivals, and parties than I can count — and maybe broken in a pool or two along the way. I’ll never forget celebrating his wedding in the stunning Sahara Desert. Love my dude.
Groomsman
A picture from our Spain trip. Tyler and I have been through thick and thin, most notably the “bird box” (an apartment which turned out to be a shoe box in a broom closet in Paris). Thankfully, our friendship was so deep we could still move around that place like ballerinas otherwise we would’ve killed each other. One of my best friends of all time, love him.
Groomsman
Met at IM West and instantly bonded. We watched every single football game together (college and NFL). Showed up no matter what the circumstance was!
Groomsman
First friend Rob met when he moved to Dallas. Stephen to Dallas at the same time. Auburn boy who was friends with fellow Michigan State people. True ‘Bama boy, favorite hobby is off roading.
Flower Girl
Cami is Emily's 6-year old niece and is VERY excited for her role in the big day! Couldn't ask for a more precious flower girl!
Ring Bearer
Harry is one of Emily's best friends, Sabrina & Keith's, son. He has bonded with Chewy and is always grinning wide, showing off his baby blues. We can’t wait to have him in the wedding!
Officiant
Bill worked with Rob at MSU (IM West) & has been a great friend to Emily & Robert throughout their relationship! Bill is known for listening to death metal on his headphones while everyone else at the bar is listening to pop hits. We knew right then and there he’d be the man for the job.
Usher
Carter is Emily’s nephew and can’t wait to be a part of the big day!
Usher
Cooper is so excited to help usher family and friends down the aisle!
