Welcome Party

Join us for drinks under the oak trees at the Fresa’s! The dress for the Welcome Party is festive/dressy casual. For men - guayaberas or collared shirts with slacks or jeans and for women - pants, dresses or skirts. It’s Texas so boots are always an option. The venue is outdoors and the ground may be uneven so consider that in your outfit/footwear choice.

Food will not be served at the Welcome Party, so please plan to eat beforehand. We’ve provided some restaurant recommendations on the website, but there are many wonderful places in the area and close to each hotel. We recommend securing a reservation as Austin is always busy!

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

3:00 pm

We invite guests to dress in garden formal/cocktail attire. Since most of the event will take place outside, consider bringing sunglasses for the ceremony and a jacket/wrap for nightfall. Women: Dresses of any length, jumpsuits, or matching sets all work. Consider a block heel as the ceremony and cocktail hour will be on grass, which could get muddy if it rains. Men: Suits are encouraged.

The ceremony will take place on the Front Lawn of the venue and will be followed by a cocktail hour. A seated dinner will be served at Mattie’s, followed by a reception in an adjoining hall. Private shuttle buses will depart the W Hotel and the South Congress Hotel for the ceremony at around 2:30 p.m. There will be return shuttles to the hotels at the end of the reception – approximately 9:30 p.m. - and another departure time following the after party at 11:00 p.m. Austin is very ride share friendly and both hotels are close to the venue so that is always an option. The after party will be upstairs at Mattie’s following the reception. For those that want to keep the party going, a separate bus will take guests to C Boys after the after party ends at 11:00 p.m.
