Where to stay?

La Jolla (best option but also most expensive) – Staying in La Jolla keeps you closest to the wedding venue, with quick access to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We have reserved a wedding room block at San Diego Marriot La Jolla. Please see more information below. Pacific Beach & Mission Beach (nearby) – Just south of La Jolla, these neighborhoods offer a lively beach scene, plenty of vacation rentals, and usually lower rates compared to La Jolla itself. Avoid Ocean Beach – While fun and eclectic, the traffic from Ocean Beach to La Jolla can be heavy and unpredictable, so we recommend skipping this area if convenience is important.
