Things To Do

Food & Activity Recommendations from our Hometown

Pizza King

214 South Tillotson Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304
, (765) 288-8841

Emily's Choice Getting Pizza King means that I'm home. I recommend getting the breadsticks three-quarters baked. My personal favorite is pepperoni & sausage with BBQ sauce, but I would say that's an acquired taste. This is the only place I would get a BBQ pizza from!

Concannon's Bakery Cafe

4801 West Baker Lane, Muncie, IN 47304
, (765) 288-9820

Donuts!! There are 2 stores in Muncie, one is closer to downtown and the wedding venue. Donuts from any Concannon's are delicious.

China Express

1805 West University Avenue, Muncie, IN 47303
, (765) 286-5298

In all my years of living away from Muncie I have never had crab rangoons as good as from China Express. I am always chasing the high of eating a bag of fresh crab rangoons from here. This is a place to Doordash or to Take Out from but is so delicious.

Mancino's Pizza & Grinders

4116 West Bethel Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304
, (765) 287-1300

If you need somewhere good to eat, try Mancino's for pizza or grinders. You can get just a large slice of pizza or a unique sandwich.

Minnetrista Museum & Gardens

1200 North Minnetrista Parkway, Muncie, IN 47303
, (765) 282-4848

A good place to take a stroll. If you need to kill some time before the ceremony, as long as it's a beautiful day take a walk around the grounds of Minnetrista. We've enjoyed a date here from time to time and it offers an indoor museum that has some great exhibits that Emily has enjoyed through her childhood.

Ball State University

2000 West University Avenue, Muncie, IN 47306

September is when campus is back in full swing, but if you want to stop by to see Emily's alma mater feel free. If you stop by the library you'll get to see where she spent a majority of her college years!

Morrow's Meadow

1901 South Tiger Drive, Yorktown, IN 47396

Go back to the place where it all began... Down the road is our high school and of course there was many a date at Morrow's Meadow. It's still a beautiful place to go and the walking path is a good distance with decent amounts of shade. Hopefully in September you can start to see the leaves changing!! We have missed that in the last 2 years!
