We met in high school marching band way back in 2016. We dated for a few months, but as a senior and a sophomore, it didn't survive high school or the teenage drama. High school friendships did, though, and at Emily's best friend's wedding in 2022, they saw each other again for the first time in years. At first, it started out as catching up with an old friend, but quickly turned into reignited feelings. Everything finally lined up, and it was the right person, right time romance we needed.
