Flight

Gatwick or Heathrow

The best airports to arrive from are London-Heathrow and London-Gatwick. There's a direct train connection via London-Gatwick to Wokingham. For travellers to London Heathrow, you can either travel via public transport including the Elizabeth Line to Reading and then train service to Wokingham, or take a taxi. The journey is around 30 minutes by car. Allow 1.5 hrs for the train.

London -> Wokingham

Travellers via London / other London airports: Wokingham can be accessed by two mainline routes from London: London Waterloo -> Reading: Calls directly at Wokingham Station and allows for transfers in Clapham Junction for anyone going via South London. London Paddington -> Reading -> Wokingham: Travellers coming via Paddington/Heathrow can reach Wokingham via the Great Western Railway Service from Paddington -> Reading. Change at Reading for any services to Wokingham (both South Western Railway and Great Western Railway services run to Wokingham ever 20 minutes). Train tickets can be purchased from the Trainline app or via the ticket machines at the main station. Due to it being a commuter line, there is no change to pricing if you book early, unless you are taking an airport express service to Paddington, Waterloo etc.

Cantley House provides rooms for our guests. Check their website out but do NOT use the booking function. To book a room with them, please don't use the booking option via the hotel website (you'll notice that the rooms on our wedding date are unavailable). Instead, you can write an email to reservations@cantleyhotel.co.uk with reference to the wedding and the date (31st May) and the team will be able to help. Above rates are available for the night of the event only. Extra z-beds are charged at £20 a bed (please note these are suitable for guests up to approximately 12 years of age). There are multiple Premier Inns near to Cantley House. This is the central Wokingham once which is a 20 minute walk away from Cantley House.
