Things To Do

We know many of you are coming from out of town (some even traveling cross country), so we want you to be able to make a whole trip out of this wedding! Here is a list of things to do in the area, many of which are our personal favorites!
Broken Compass Tiki

Broken Compass Tiki

2013 W Burbank Blvd, Burbank, CA 91506

This is one of our favorite bars! With strong pirate vibes and even stronger drinks, this spot is perfect if you're looking for a quick bite to eat.

Geeky Teas & Games

Geeky Teas & Games

900 West Alameda Avenue, Burbank, CA 91506

With a treasure trove of dice to pick from and a cat named Mr. President, this game shop is a must visit for all our nerdy friends.

The Getty Villa

The Getty Villa

17985 Pacific Coast Highway, Los Angeles, CA 90272

20 miles from the wedding venue, The Getty Villa is a beautiful display of Greek and Roman history. It's completely free to visit, just make sure you make a reservation online.

Knott's Berry Farm

Knott's Berry Farm

8039 Beach Boulevard, Buena Park, CA 90620

For our rollercoaster enthusiasts, Knott's Berry Farm is the place to go! Originally a boysenberry farm, this charming park offers many boysenberry-flavored treats and a ton of high intensity rides.

The Greek Theatre

The Greek Theatre

2700 North Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90027

While there are many concert venues in LA, they all pale in comparison to The Greek (in our opinion). Located within Griffith Park, this outdoor venue is nestled within towering trees. While it may be smaller than other iconic venues, such as the Hollywood Bowl, The Greek allows for a more intimate setting to listen to your favorite artist (not to mention the parking is MUCH easier).

The Witch’s Cottage

The Witch’s Cottage

5303 Lankershim Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 91601

Located in a historic building, this place has quickly become one of our new favorites! Whether you're going for coffee or a mixed drink, The Witch's Cottage is perfect for those looking for a whimsical addition to their day.

Griffith Observatory

Griffith Observatory

2800 East Observatory Road, Los Angeles, CA 90027

In the mood for a quick hike? Check out the iconic Griffith Observatory! While the hike is short, it is rather steep, so make sure you dress accordingly. If you'd rather forgo the hike, you can always drive up there, however, the parking is limited. Which ever way you decide to go about it, don't forget to snap a picture of the Hollywood sign once you've made it to the top!

Santa Monica Pier

Santa Monica Pier

200 Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica, CA 90401

See one of California's most popular tourist sights! There is tons of parking in the area, and it's easily accessible by public transportation. Walk along the pier and enjoy the miles of beach for free.

Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood

100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608

Universal Studios offers immersive environments and a super entertaining back lot tour. It doesn't have as many "thrill rides" as other parks, but it is perfect for those who want an inside peak at Hollywood and fun rides! It is also located at CityWalk, which has a ton of restaurants and shops to check out.

Sherbet Homes

Sherbet Homes

1339 Pacific Coast Hwy, Santa Monica, CA 90401

For our younger guests who grew up chronically online, now is your opportunity to see the infamous black & pink houses along the PCH.
