Mary Elise is Emily's oldest sister and lives in Tampa, FL with her husband, Clay Rising (groomsman), and their two kids, Carter (5), and Mary Garrett (3). While Mary Elise and Emily are not as close in age as Emily's other sister Kathleen, they always had a kindred friendship. Growing up, Emily had the luxury of "borrowing" Mary Elise's clothes when she wasn't home, which resulted in a few arguments, or broken hairbrushes, but none the less, they always found a way to come back to their strong-rooted sisterhood. Emily has always admired Mary Elise for her devotion to family, kindness for others, and undeniable faith.

Rick Parker

Best Man

Rick is Nick's stepfather marrying Renee in 2012. The two are adventure buddies enjoying skiing, rock climbing, shooting and the outdoors. Commonly referred to as Hardy by his early friends, Nick has affectionately nicknamed him Rick-Rock or Rick-a-pedia for his skills on the North Face and his amazingly robust memory of random facts and figures. Every year the family reunites in Winter Park Colorado for a family ski vacation (nicks favorite!) and every year the twok find new areas to explore and new ways to torture Renee with worry and their more aggressive tactics. The two have a wonderful knack for talking to each other into bad ideas and blood oaths to "never tell mom" what we did and it is because of this Rick is the best man, friend and role model a son could ask for in life.

Kathleen Carter

Kathleen is Emily's second older sister and lives in Denver, CO. She has a great love for all things outdoors, adventure, and her doggies Patch and Ellie! Nick and Kathleen went to the same school growing up and shared the same circle of friends. Little did she know that her younger sister always had eyes for her friend, Nick. Being 15 months apart, Kathleen and Emily conquered most phases of life in tandem. During their college years at Auburn University, they shared double the number of friends, double the number of outfits, and double the fun at college parties! They share the same passion for adventure including sky-diving, skiing, hiking, and Taylor Swift concerts. Kathleen's spirit for life, quirky humor, and constant friendship will always hold a special place in Emily's heart.

Sean Corriveau

Sean is Nick's cousin, son of Bob and Linda Corriveau, Bob being Renee's younger brother. Sean and Nick have a long family history together and are usual companions on family outings. Sean is a graduate of the University of Michigan Architecture program and is currently a lead designer for Ford Motor Company. Sean a Nick are also adventure buddies who have shared many family camping trips and crazy off-road golf cart rides within the Michigan forest. One day the two hope to start up a business of their own, freeing them from the oppressive demands of buidling design and construction.

Adrienne Razvodov

Adrienne is Nick's younger sister and lives in Chicago with her husband, Art (groomsman), and her newborn baby boy, Kai. Although Adrienne and Emily have only known each other the same amount of time Nick and Emily have been together, there is no doubt that she and Nick have a special relationship. When the two are together, there is no interrupting their ping pong banter and inside jokes. It's very endearing to watch from afar and that is something Emily will always be thankful they have together. Nick and Emily are very much looking forward to many more vacations in Chicago to visit her, Art, and baby Kai!

Art Razvodov

Art is Nick's Brother-In-Law and father to newborn baby Kai. Art has immigrated to the US of A from Russia several years ago before meeting Adrienne while working in Chicago. Nick lead a successful campaign against all would-be suitors to Adrienne during her high school years but knew one day his efforts would be in vain. Art passed the test and has been a loved family member for years and undertaking the role of protector of Adrienne in Nick's absence.

Maryanne McWhirter

Maryanne is Emily's very best friend from childhood. They both grew up in Atlanta, GA and went to school together from 3rd grade through college at Auburn University. Maryanne currently lives in Nashville with her husband Terrell, and her newborn baby girl, Anne Blaire. To Emily, Maryanne has always been just like another sister. She has a way of making everything joyous and happy when you are around her. Maryanne's smile and kindness are infectious to the people she is near. The best quality about Maryanne, is that she loves to make home videos of herself singing and dancing to Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears. If you need any tips while you're on the dancefloor at Nick and Emily's wedding, she's your go-to girl!

Clay Rising

Clay is Emily's Brother-In-Law, married to Mary Elise Rising, along with their two nuggets Mary Garret and Carter Rising. Nick and Clay are cut from the exact same cloth and are only separated by a couple of years having grown up in the same neck of the woods in the North Atlanta suburbs. Both athletes, both passionate family members and both joyous consumers of large amounts of lite beer. If not being separated by a few states, there is no doubt that Nick and Clay would be great friends and sharing weekend adventures with each other's little family.

Katharine Murphy

Katharine is Emily's longest friendship of over 25 years! They knew each other at 3 years old and have been close ever since. Katharine and Emily's played several sports growing up together, but were known for leading their softball team together! Katharine is one of those old souls who was always (and still is) wise beyond her years. I never really understood that until I got older, but no wonder she made straight As in school while being a 3 season athlete! No matter the number of years that go by, Katharine's sincere friendship is one Emily can always depend on. Katharine currently lives in Atlanta with her husband, Will, and her baby boy, William Jr.

Bryant Sterczala

Bryant and Nick were best of friends during college and were fortunate enough to even share some overtime adventure in Utah right after college while each struggled for work in a terrible economy. Nick is always down for an adventure, but Bryant aka Scout takes the trophy for this award. Bryant is our favorite wanderlust little Yankee who has trecked all over the US seeking new life experiences and willing himself to the unknown. It is easy to understand how this Northern invader fit so well into the college friend group, he carries no judgment, but simply seeks adventure and those willing to experience life for all it has to offer.

Lindsay English

Lindsay is Emily's best friend from college. They both were AO AO Cutie Pies at Auburn University. There was a reason Emily and Lindsay became sorority sisters and that's because it was a start of a life-long friendship. She's made Emily laugh more times than she can count, but more importantly, she was always there to listen, give out a hug and wipe away tears when Emily needed her too. No matter how many months or years go by, every time, Lindsay and Emily always pick up where they left off. Lindsay now lives and works as a dentist in Savannah, GA. She is happily married to her husband, Will, and has the cutest pup named Rudy.

Hunter Scott

Hunter and Nick are friends from grade school and have been companions for many years after life and work has taken each other to new places. The two lived just down the road from each other growing up and it was commonplace for them to end up spending the weekend at one or the others place crushing zombies on XBOX Live. Both Nick and Hunter took on tough jobs in the middle of nowhere South Georgia several years after college. Fortunately, they ended up being located just several minutes down the road from each other where they were able to continue their friendship while working in a remote location. Hunter is one of Nick's oldest friends and original adventure buddy.
