How is the venue handling COVID-19?

Answer

As of August 8th, 2020, North Corner Haven, is complying with all COVID-19 guidelines issued by the state of South Carolina. Below are listed precautions the venue is taking. PERSONAL PROTECTION • Hand sanitizer available • Face coverings available • Dedicated guest bathrooms for hand-washing FACILITY CLEANING & MAINTENANCE • 360 - Covid Awareness Certified • Top to bottom thorough cleaning of the facility before and after every event • Increased in-process cleaning SPACE • Social distancing encouragement • Increase circulation of outdoor air as much as possible by opening windows and doors, using fans, or other methods. • Proper signage reminding guests and staff to be safe NCH TEAM • We monitor the health of our team frequently with temperature and symptom checks • All team members use face coverings when social distancing is not possible • By visiting North Corner Haven, you voluntarily assume all risks to exposure to COVID-19

Is there a shuttle to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle for out of town guests staying at the hotels. Be sure to check out our Travel & Accommodations page for all the info you need.

How far away is North Corner Haven from Charlotte?

Answer

North Corner Haven is located in Lancaster, SC, which is approximately 30 miles (45 minutes) from the South Park area in Charlotte.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Be sure to check out our Events page for further details on when the ceremony will begin.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be at North Corner Haven.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

There will be limited parking at the venue. We suggest taking Uber/Lyft or carpooling for your convenience and safety. Bus transportation will be provided for out of town guests.

What's the Dress Code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is preferred. The ceremony will be outside on a beautiful grass lawn (weather permitting), so ladies, please be aware of what shoes you decide to wear!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off, a time to let your hair down and enjoy the wedding evening. If your kids are not part of the direct wedding family, we ask that you kindly find arrangements for babysitting.
