Amanda and Emily have been best friends since they were 4 years old! Amanda went to the University of Michigan, and Emily loved being able to be an “honorary University of Michigan student” with her. Amanda then moved to D.C., where they eventually visited almost every single Smithsonian museum throughout her visits. Amanda recently moved to London, where she works for the William & Kate Foundation!
Charlie Wentling
Best Man
Charlie and Nick have been best friends since elementary school! They have always gotten into shenanigans together and some of their favorite memories from growing up are climbing to the top of the cement tower in Bartlett and shooting bb and paintball guns. Another favorite memory is visiting their friend in Honduras, where they spearfished, cliff jumped, and cave dived. Charlie currently lives in St. Petersburg, where he works as a field engineer!
Allison Learman

Emily has been best friends with Alli since elementary school. Alli’s favorite memories with Emily include riding bikes on the Chicago lakefront and wine tasting in Lake Chelan when Alli visited Washington. She also used to love volunteering with Emily at the Delonis Center soup kitchen (even though Emily once accidentally spilled an entire 40 gallon container of ice water on her). Alli is currently living in Columbus, OH where she teaches Spanish!
Ryan Burke

Nick has been friends with Ryan since they were babies! Ryan and Nick share a love of the band King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and have seen them 5 times together in concert (including recently when Ryan flew out to Seattle for the concert!). They also share a love of snowboarding and have snowboarded together in Whistler and Keystone. Ryan currently lives in Chicago and works as a senior accountant in the cannabis industry!
Kathleen Reuter

Kat and Emily have been best friends since elementary school! Growing up, they shared a love of live music and attended dozens of concerts together. More recently, Kat worked as a teacher in Florida where they made lots of great memories in Tampa and Clearwater Beach. Kat and Emily also love their tradition of cheering for the University of Michigan at football games in the Big House. Kat is now living in Ann Arbor, where she is working for the University of Michigan!
Sean Mulroe

Nick and Sean have been best friends since freshman year of college when they rushed the same fraternity. After college, Nick and Sean lived together for two years and enjoyed daily lakefront runs and lifts at the park. In fact, Sean’s favorite memory with Nick is their daily workouts and Catan game nights at the beginning of COVID. Sean also helped Nick and Emily move into their first apartment together! Sean lives in Chicago, where he works in computer science.
Swagata Patnaik

Emily and Swagata have been best friends since freshman year of college! Swagata’s favorite memory with Emily (and the moment she knew they would be lifelong friends) is when she came over to Emily’s freshman dorm to study organic chemistry and after a hour or two of studying… Emily convinced her to go out and provided her with a whole outfit including shoes. Emily and Swagata have spent many nights trying new restaurants and bars in Chicago and now look forward to all the places to try when Emily visits NYC. Swagata is in her second year of internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai!
Chris Ciccone

Chris and Nick have been best friends since high school! Growing up, Nick and Chris loved to play wally-ball (a combination of racquetball and volleyball). After college, they lived together for two years. Nick’s favorite memory with Chris is going to his family’s lakehouse in Door County, WI. Chris lives outside of Chicago, where he works in finance!
Avni Singh

Emily and Avni have been best friends since their freshman year of college! They were roommates for a total of 4 years between college and medical school and have shared countless memories together including a trip to India during college and a trip to Budapest and Prague after their first year of medical school. Avni lives in Chicago, where she is in her second year of pediatrics residency at Northwestern!
Eddie Quagliata

Eddie and Nick have been best friends since childhood! One of their favorite things to do together growing up was play hockey (Eddie went on to play college hockey and Nicky did not). They ended up rushing the same fraternity at U of I and have continued to stay close by playing video games together! Eddie currently lives outside of Chicago, where he works in IT sales.
Keya Amin

Keya and Emily have been best friends since college! One of Keya and Emily’s favorite Chicago memories is meeting Deepti from Love is Blind. Keya and Emily are also voice memo queens and keep up their long distance friendship by frequently sending 10+ voice memos to each other at a time. Keya currently lives in Chicago where she works in marketing. She will also be starting her MBA at University of Chicago next year!

Tino is Nick’s cousin and currently lives in Chicago, where he works for a scholarship software service. Growing up, Nick loved spending every holiday with Tino and snowboarding with him in places like Vail and Big Sky. Nick’s favorite memory with Tino is going to the Chiappetta’s lake house in Michigan every summer.
Nina Carsello

Nina is Nick’s younger sister and currently lives in Seattle! One of Nick’s favorite memories with Nina is visiting her at Ole Miss (where she went to college) and when she visited him at U of I. One of Emily’s favorite memories with Nina is when Nick and Emily visited her in SF while seeing the hospitals Emily had applied for residency at and got to spend a few days meeting all her friends and even going to Napa for a day of wine tasting.
Lucca Chiappetta

Lucca is Nick's cousin and currently lives in Boulder, where he works as a chef at an Italian restaurant! One of Nick's favorite memories with Lucca is when he lived with his Uncle Gary and Lucca for a year after college. Since his Aunt Mugs was out of the country for the year, the boys were left to their own devices to get into all sorts of shenanigans. Nick also loved when his mom and Lucca's mom would rent a house in Michigan every summer to take the kids to. He especially loved taking Lucca (as the baby cousin) to the lazy river!
Isabella Carsello

Bella is Nick’s youngest sister and currently lives in Baton Rouge, LA, where she recently graduated from undergrad at LSU and is now getting her masters in information science. Nick’s favorite memory with Bella is swimming with her on family vacation and pinching her chubby cheeks (she is affectionately nicknamed “Chubbers”). Emily’s favorite memory with is Bella is when she visited Seattle with several of her college friends for her 21st birthday, and we got to spend the week showing Washington to her friends!
Paige Killelea

Paige was Emily's first friend in residency and remains one of her best friends! Paige and Emily love hiking together, going to UW football and Seattle Mariners games, and having cozy wine nights! Paige's favorite memory with Emily is when they were on nights together for a whole week, and every night they had a different theme night in the call room. Paige is also getting married just one month after Emily and Nick so they've had a blast planning their weddings together over the past year! Paige is currently a 2nd year pediatrics resident at Seattle Children's.
