Garden Wedding/Cocktail Attire: For the ladies,wear cocktail dresses, dressy sundresses, or nice pants suits. For the men, wear jackets and slacks. PLEASE NOTE this is not your typical wedding color scheme as the BRIDE WILL BE WEARING BLACK so ladies you may wear white this time but please do not wear black.
The wedding will be held outdoors beside a 100yr old one room schoolhouse under a huge tree. You will be walking across a lawn to the ceremony so ladies you might want to rethink those stiletto heels. Temperatures will be very warm in July, typically high 80's, however the reception venue is air conditioned. There will be dancing at the reception so wear your dancing shoes so you can join in on the fun.
