How we got here

From our very first date in November 2019, we have had a connection that feels as natural as breathing. What was meant to be meeting for a drink or two turned into four hours of talking, and we were onto the second date just a couple of days later. It was an immediate and obvious connection, and we both realized we had stumbled into someone that we wanted to spend forever talking to. From cooking together, to browsing antique stores, to movie marathons and keeping up with the 90 Day Fiance & Bachelor franchises, we folded into each other's lives so easily, and no matter what we were doing, it was made better by simply having the other there with us. Our first trip together was to Hot Springs Arkansas, and by then it was becoming obvious that this was really something special. Sitting in the air bnb in our respective "old people recliners" after a day of hiking, watching an HGTV spinoff in horror as someone absolutely ruined a historic home in the name of farmhouse chic- This was a feeling worth holding onto. Our relationship continued to grow as we navigated life changes together, deciding to make the move to Louisville KY in November of 2021. Discovering this city together and building a community has been such an incredible experience, and being able to grow together and lean on each other is the most special feeling. On August 19 2024, while on the family trip to Florida, we went on a sunrise walk (huge shoutout to everyone that woke up at dawn the day after traveling to help make it happen) and Nash proposed. It was an amazing morning, followed by so many special moments getting to celebrate with family and being so surrounded by love and support. And that's really what's gotten us here- both of us are so grateful for the family and friends that have made us who we are, and the love that allowed us to so easily fall into place together. We are so excited for this life together, and just over the moon to be able to celebrate the start of it with all of you.
