It all began in 2017, when Miguel fell in love with Emily in nursing school. A few years later, in 2019, we started our careers side by side as new graduate nurses on the same unit. Those early years of long shifts, learning curves, and late-night laughs brought us even closer together. In 2021, we decided to chase adventure and take on travel nursing. Our journey took us from Texas to Virginia, where we not only grew as nurses but also as a couple. Along the way, we expanded our little family by adopting Mochi, our sweet French Bulldog, and Lilo, our lovable American Foxhound. By 2023, our hearts were ready to be closer to home, so we moved back to Florida to be near our families. That December, Miguel asked Emily to marry him, and of course, she said yes! Now, after years of adventures, growth, and love, we can’t wait to celebrate our next chapter—our wedding in March 2026.
