February 24, 2020: Emily walked through the door of The Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum, ready to start a brand new job in a brand new city. Max had been working there for about four years at that point, representing the Rev. John Prince. Little did she know that she had made an impression, but to use his words, he was "either too shy or not creepy enough" to ask her out at that point. March 16, 2020: The BTPSM would close for a little over four months due to COVID-19 and both Max and Emily would be laid off. Emily, however, had no intention of being left behind, and no reservations about plunging into whatever next steps God might have in store. Next steps would mean taking on the future as husband and wife. Just like that, they were engaged! May 2, 2026 You get to be here for this part of the story!
