What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony the wedding party will leave to take photos. There will be a gap between the ceremony and reception. Use this time to explore all that Kansas City has to offer! There are many restaurants, bars, and breweries within walking distance of the hotel block and reception venue. We have listed some of our favorite places in the "Things Do Do" section of the website, but it's a very high traffic and busy area that you can find places to go by simply walking around and exploring!

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adult- only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Will it be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. There will be a combination of liquors, mixers, Boulevard and domestic beer, and red and white wine.

Will there be parking at the reception venue?

Answer

While we recommend using a rideshare app or walking from the hotel for safety and ease of access, The Guild has 3 private lots available for you to park in that are marked with signs.
