Question

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

Our wedding is being held on a beautiful, but rustic riverfront property. The ceremony and reception are both outdoors. While the reception will be held under a large tent, our ceremony is completely open to the elements. In the event of substantial rain, the ceremony will be moved to the tent. However, if it's just sprinkling we will likely enjoy our ceremony as planned under one of the property's lovely trees. You may want to bring an umbrella just in case.

What is the dress code?

Answer

There is none! We will be dressed a bit fancier than how you're used to seeing us, but we want you to be yourself and be comfortable. With that in mind, please remember that our ceremony and reception are outdoors. Although our reception area will be covered by a large tent, the only floor is the dance floor! Tables and walkways will all be on grass. Parking will be in an open field. You may want to avoid wearing shoes that you don't want to get dirty. For those who like to wear high heels, you may consider a wedge or flat for safety and comfort.

Will alcoholic beverages be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes. In celebration of our special occasion, we are hosting an open bar where wine and beer will be served only to those of legal drinking age. If you plan to partake, please have a plan for getting home safely and do not drink and drive. We would also encourage you to be considerate of our guests, especially children, and please drink responsibly. If you are going to enjoy the open bar we encourage you to kindly tip our hardworking bartenders for their service.

Will food be served?

Answer

Absolutely! In appreciation for joining us on our big day and to fuel you for a night of dancing, a buffet style dinner will be catered by The Log House Restaurant. Just wait until you try Jerry's chocolate cake (Mastin's favorite)! Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate special diets or food allergies.
