Maid of Honor
Alyssa and I have been friends for 15+ years when we met at the high school lunch table which seems like forever ago (because it was!!). I was super shy, while Alyssa was outgoing and very assertive, always asking 100 questions. Our personalities were very different at the time of meeting, but we quickly became inseparable. From high school parties, planking around St. Mary's county, getting ready to go to Wawa, fake IDs, dance instructors, bonding over our love for Photo Hunt and attending Frostburg State University together, Alyssa and I have gone through many different stages of life with one another (some better than others... haha). We just get each other on a different level and I couldn't be more excited to have my best friend by my side on my big day! I love you, Alyssa Annie!
Best Man
I’ve known “Douty” for 15+ yrs. I met him one late night in College Park...working at the Performance Arts Center. We were both newly minted Auxiliary Officers of the UMPD; yes we worked for the campus police. That one shift turned into about 2 years worth of shifts together and an everlasting man crush. Memories that come to mind about Douty: * Josephines chicken cutlets * Room 14 * Going to our first Cubs game * Being “Uncle Turkey” Robert will be my best man as he has been my best friend; loyal, fun, understanding, and admirable. Douty has helped me get to a day I never thought I’d ever get to, and will coach me through this special day. He will be the guy at the bar encouraging you to take more shots (not taking his), then watching you act a fool on the dance floor.
Bridesmaid
Abbey is my younger sister by 6 years! When we were younger we had our fair share of brawls, but that's what sisters are for, right?! As we have gotten older we have grown closer and have been able to bond over some similar interests. Abbey is my much cooler, younger sister and I admire her artistic ability and her skills to make my eyebrows look like the best twin sisters ever! I'm excited to have my baby sister by my side on my wedding day!
Groomsman
Funny how life works, I have known of Tim for more than 20 years, but never personally knew him until he managed me at Home Depot. I had just graduated college, moved back home, and didn’t have a clue what to do with my life. As many do with work, we make it our life and the people we work with become family. Memories that come to mind about Tim: * Our annual gatherings on his birthday * Always helping and pushing me through life to be a better man * Saving me from Tinder dates I am honored and appreciative to have him stand by my side as a groomsman on this day, knowing he has seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. He has accepted me for who I am, and now accepts Emily into the family. He will be the guy asking you at the bar how much you bench press or deadlift.
Bridesmaid
I met Heather through mutual friends when I was in high school. We instantly bonded and have remained close friends ever since! No matter how long we haven't talked or how many miles there are between us, we always pick right back up where we left off. Heather is always down for an adventure and never ever skips a beat. Heather has shown me "being yourself" is what life is all about as she religiously lives her life this away. I really admire that about her! I can't wait to share my special day with Heather by my side! I love you, Hessa Annie!
Groomsman
Brad has been apart of my life for a 20 wild years. We have been friends ever since my sophomore year of high school. We were both looking to partake in a fall sport everyone hates; running. We told ourselves we just did it to stay in shape, but a bond, camaraderie, and team grew. Memories that come to mind about Brad: * His love for Smirnoff Ice and now White Claw * Always was down to do something, anything * 4-6am EST drunk/ butt dials from Arizona I am proud to have him stand by my side as a groomsman, a faithful friend, trusted accomplice, and admitted weirdo. Watch out for him; as he will he be trolling with the Smirnoff ice in his pocket trying to Ice you or asking you when you are moving to Scottsdale.
