Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Loren's beautiful childhood home, Shannon Farm. 274 Shannon Farm Ln, Afton VA
Carpooling is encouraged! Shannon Farm is about a 35 minute drive from Charlottesville, located off of Route 151 between Blue Mountain Brewery and Devils Backbone. Keep an eye out for Ashley's Market on the right, which is just before the Left turn off of 151 towards the farm. There will be signs and traffic directors to guide you once you turn onto Shannon Farm Lane. There is ample parking by the reception tent which will include a short walk to the ceremony location. For those who need it, there will be a designated handicap parking area much closer to the ceremony.
We will be providing a shuttle service from Shannon Farm back to Lampo in Charlottesville to allow those who wish to drink and indulge to do so safely. Feel free to park at Lampo and carpool with others to the venue! For those who drive to the Farm, you are welcome to leave your car overnight and retrieve it the next day. Please be safe and don't drink and drive! We have hired Hop On as our shuttle service, and they will do several trips back to Charlottesville over the course of the evening starting around 8:30. There will be a concierge to help organize trips back to town, so keep an eye out for the sign up sheet!
Cocktail or Costume Wear whatever makes you feel fancy yet comfortable! The theme of the wedding will be a combination of all of our favorite fantasy genres, with the overarching theme between them being DRAGONS (LOTR, GoT, HP, D&D). As such, costumes are encouraged! But most importantly wear whatever makes you feel beautiful/handsome, and that you can traverse gravel and grass in. Please keep in mind the wedding will be completely outdoors in June, so dress appropriately for the weather and temperature.

Emily and Loren thought long and hard about what to do for their wedding registry, and couldn't think of a better way to celebrate their marriage than by taking their very first overseas trip together. There are several items that guests are able to contribute to, so take a look and see if anything catches your eye! But please know that if you're not able to contribute, your presence at their wedding is more than enough.
