Come as you are, but don't forget your dancing shoes! (Casual.)

How should I get to the venue?
Answer
We strongly encourage carpooling to the Lodge at Bear River. Alternatively, you can call Weaverville Taxi at (828) 575-8065. (There is very limited Lyft/Uber but you can try.) Parking: you will be directed to the guest parking area and a shuttle will bring you to the venue and back to your car when you're ready to go home. Please designate a driver!

What do you mean, "unplugged"?
Answer
We kindly ask that you respect our wish for an "unplugged" ceremony - meaning you turn OFF your phone and/or camera during the ceremony. This is for a few reasons. We want you fully present with us in this moment. We also want to give our photographer plenty of space to capture it. And, we really don't want a sea of cell phones in our wedding photos. So, please (please!) refrain from using your phone/camera during the ceremony. Feel free to take all the photos you want during the reception!

We are registered on Zola, Crate & Barrel, and West Elm. Click the Registry tab above to see all three integrated into a single page. Please note, we prefer to have gifts shipped to us, rather than brought to the wedding, due to limited transportation/storage capacity. Thank you so much for your generosity!

Yes, we are having a pig roast. But! We promise to offer plenty of delicious vegetarian food. We also want you to know that our pig is local and humanely raised, from Whisperholler Farms, which is recognized by the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project.
