Harrisville is home to rich history and beautiful New England architecture. Take some time to explore the town and its stories using the walking audio tour located at https://www.historicharrisville.org/tour. The tour includes 26 sites and is divided into 3 loops, each taking about 20 minutes to complete. There's so much to explore by car and on foot, and so much local beauty to enjoy!

Mount Monadnock

Mount Monadnock

Jaffrey, NH 03452

One of New Hampshire's most classic hikes, this trek is a must for any lovers of the outdoors! This scenic hike will make for an excellent daytime activity before or after Saturday's festivities, and will create many memories.

Walking Trails

Walking Trails

For those looking to get outside and enjoy the fresh air without scaling Mount Monadnock, there are plenty of scenic walking trails in the area. One of our favorites is the Chesterfield Gorge. Bring your sneakers for this scenic trek to see a rushing waterfall nestled into the beautiful woodlands! There are plenty of other local walks to enjoy, including the trails at the Ashuelot River Park, the Cheshire Rail Trail, and many more.

Stonewall Farm

Stonewall Farm

242 Chesterfield Road, Keene, NH 03431

Tucked into scenic Keene, Stonewall Farm is the region's only operating dairy farm. Come take a tour, try some local products, and meet some cute animals while learning about the regenerative and sustainable practices of the farm. As a bonus, stop by the farm's Community Market Night between 4 and 7 PM on Friday evening for food, drink, games, and music before coming to the Welcome Bonfire to kick off wedding festivities!

Horatio Colony Museum

For all the lovers of history and natural beauty, this museum and 645-acre nature preserve nestled in Keene are sure to delight. Harrisville General Store

Harrisville General Store

29 Church Street, Harrisville, NH 03450
, (603) 827-3138

In operation since 1838, the historic Harrisville General Store comes highly recommended by locals. Even better, it's located 5 minutes from our reception at Aldworth Manor. Stop in to browse through the grocery and local product selection, or grab a bite to eat from the breakfast and lunch menus. Despite the tasty temptations, be sure not to spoil your appetite for dinner at the reception!

Thai Garden

This is our favorite restaurant in Keene! Situated almost across the street from Saint Bernard's Church, this will make for an excellent lunch spot before or after our Ceremony. You will not regret the delicious food or incredibly friendly service!
