The state of the pandemic is ever-evolving, and while we don't want to be the "COVID Police" at our wedding, we will be employing a few safety measures to keep our guests safe. We will require all guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, having received their primary round of immunization or their most recent booster dose within 1 year of our wedding day. We ask that all of our guests take every possible precaution to keep themselves and others safe in the week leading up to the wedding. If possible, we encourage guests to take a COVID-19 test before coming to the wedding ceremony or reception. If you test positive, or are feeling unwell, we kindly request that you stay home to keep everyone safe - we will be sure to send plenty of pictures and will be thinking of you! While our ceremony will take place indoors, we will be holding our reception in an open-air tent to promote air circulation.
A shuttle will be provided for guests to travel to and from the room block hotels in Keene and the reception in Harrisville (a ~25 minute drive). Shuttles are open to anyone, even guests staying outside of the room blocks - you will just need to get yourselves to the hotels for the pickup point. Please note that shuttles will depart promptly at the departure times marked below and that there is no Uber in the area, so please make sure you arrive at the shuttles in time for departure! 4:30 PM: Shuttles depart from the Courtyard Marriott and Best Western in Keene, NH to the Reception. Guests staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites should walk ~5 minutes to the shuttle departure site at the Courtyard Marriott. Loading begins at 4:15 PM and shuttles will depart promptly at 4:30 PM. 10:00 PM: Shuttle departs from the Reception back to the Courtyard Marriott and Best Western in Keene, NH. 11:00 PM: Final shuttles depart at the conclusion of the Reception back to the Courtyard Marriott and Best Western in Keene, NH.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to accomodate children and plus ones as guests to our wedding. While we love all of your little ones and your significant others, the pandemic has unfortunately introduced constraints on how many guests we can invite to celebrate in person. If you're looking to clarify who in your household is invited, your virtual save the date email (search your inbox for "Paperless Post Emily & Liam's Wedding"), physical save the date envelope, and invitation envelope are all addressed to everyone in your party who is invited to join us. Thank you for understanding!
We both love dressing up, and we can't wait to see you all looking your best! The dress code will be formal- suits, blazers, and formal cocktail dresses are welcome. Wear your summery best, but remember the reception will be outdoors and on the lawn (avoid stilettos)!
Our wedding ceremony will be a full Catholic Mass starting at 12:30 PM. We ask that you please arrive to St. Bernard's Church by 12:15 PM to ensure everyone is on-time and ready to go!
Yes - please see the "Travel" tab on this website to view our hotel recommendations. Since the room blocks have now closed, please don't hesitate to reach out if you are having any difficulty finding a place to stay. If no hotels are working out, local Airbnbs or Vrbos may provide other options. We will be happy to help however we can!
Yes- there is plenty of parking capacity at both venues. For the ceremony, there is lot parking behind St. Bernard's Church, and additional street parking on Main Street, Keene. Guests staying at downtown Keene hotels may also walk to the Church. There will be a 20-25 minute shuttle or drive from Keene to the reception, with plenty of parking for drivers behind Aldworth Manor.
Above all, you can expect to be welcomed! Whether this is your first or thousandth Catholic Mass, the Church welcomes all to its Sacramental celebrations. The Mass will last approximately 1 hour, and will include a series of readings, prayers, songs, Communion, and the Matrimonial Sacrament itself. Emily and Liam will provide a program to help everyone participate in the liturgy as they are comfortable. No matter your faith background or experience, we will be so grateful for your warm presence, support, and prayers for our marriage, and we look forward to celebrating this important Sacrament with you all!
