Our love story is a true testament to the saying that love finds a way, even in unexpected places. It all started at Howard the Basset Hound's birthday party, where Emily and I met for the first time. However, what's even more interesting is that Emily had known my parents for years. Emily's first job was at the Academy (RISD), where she was hired by my father, Keith Forte. While working there, Emily saw lots of pictures of me and became intrigued. Later on, Emily became the Principal of Lake Highlands Elementary, where my mother worked in the front office. Fast forward to my dog Howard's birthday party in 2020, Emily spotted me and mustered up the courage to make the first move. She also secretly has a lot of game. Emily, who is very organized and has OCD, found herself attracted to my laid-back, go-with-the-flow attitude. She soon discovered that despite our differences, we fit together like a puzzle piece. My clothes trails created a bit of a challenge for Emily's organizational skills, but we found a way to make it work. As our love grew stronger, we knew that we were meant to be together. We laughed, loved, and supported each other through thick and thin. As a Sooner, I never thought I’d find love with a Aggie like Emily. But our differences only strengthen our relationship, and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together. Thank you to all of those that have supported us and being a part of our love story, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.
