Amy is Kyle’s oldest younger sister. Amy went to UGA and is a diehard Bulldog fan, Diet Coke connoisseur, and Tortilla Flat aficionado. Amy lives in Nashville and will gladly tell you all the reasons it's the best place to live. She is also TSwift's #1 fan! Much to Kyle's disgust.
Sam Watson
Best Man
Sam is Kyle's little brother and protégé. Sam became an honorary Appalachian State fan when he was in attendance with Kyle for App State's first ever bowl win in Montgomery, Alabama. Sam enjoys (for the most part) Tennessee football, Braves baseball, flying Frontier Airlines, and watering berms. We moved our wedding from 2 days before his 21st birthday to May of 2021 so he'd be able to (legally) enjoy craft beer with the rest of the groom's party.
Sarah Coates

Sarah is one of Emily's best friends from college and met while pledging Alpha Omicron Pi. The two quickly became inseparable when they served on the Panhellenic Council together. They were super cool. Sarah is a lover of all things Appalachian State (her son's name is Boone!!), drinking wine, and baking lemon bars.
Tim Johnson

Tim is one of Kyle's best friends from college where they lived together their senior year. During college, Tim and Kyle traveled all over the country seeing live music, including what became an annual tradition seeing Yonder Mountain String Band in Asheville. This is where Kyle first learned about Tim’s love of Hopslam and hate of traffic. Tim enjoys craft beer, App State football, and cover bands such as JRAD.
Michelle Watson

Michelle is Kyle’s younger sister and former Armstrong State soccer standout goalie (Armstrong is now apart of Georgia Southern, but we try and forget about that). She's a world traveler, lover of all animals (especially the fluffy ones), and has the best tan of anyone you'll meet.
Dylan Allonier

Dylan is one of Kyle's best friends from college and met pledging Lambda Chi Alpha in Boone, NC. Dylan and Kyle lived together for nearly 2 1/2 years which took approximately 11 years off their life expectancy. Dylan enjoys craft beer, cats named Brock, and purple drinks.
Eliza Athans

Emily met Eliza while Eliza was wearing a lamb costume - she was 6. Since then Eliza has retired her lamb costume and become one of the coolest people Emily knows. Better known as Emily's mini-me, Eliza is a star volleyball player, lover of all things outdoors, and can typically be found wearing at least one clothing item that was Emily's. The girl is always in style! She is also a die hard Tarheel fan. Just another reason why she's awesome.
Daniel Gnecco

Gnecco (pronounced 'hen-ick-co') is one of Kyle's oldest friends dating back to their freshmen year of high school. The two grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta where they attended Walton High School together and were model students. Gnecco enjoys craft kombucha, closing business deals with Shark Tank icons, and driving on interstates during torrential downpours with no windshield wipers.
Brandie Ebert

Brandie is one of Emily's best friends from college. They met while pledging Alpha Omicron Pi and spending entirely too much time in the music building. Since college Brandie and Emily have become even closer (if that's even possible) always planning the next trip and talking about what workout they accomplished that day. Brandie is a lover of the Florida Gators, long bike rides to the beach, and holding you to the highest standards.
Brian Cheek

Brian Cheek and Kyle first met each other when Dylan Allonier brought Brian to Boone, NC for a weekend visit. After graduation, Kyle relocated to Raleigh and moved in with Brian where they would quickly become best friends. During that time, the legendary Kyle Brian Band was formed (link below) and many Classy Christmas's were had. Ashley and Emily met when they were pledging Alpha Omicron Pi. Although they knew each other in college their friendship quickly took off after a girls trip to Savannah after graduation. Ashley is one of Emily's best friends and can be found in a group chat with Brandie and Emily most days. She's a die hard Braves fan, a CNN superstar, and maker of delicious pies. A hobby she should consider turning into a business!
Mitch Helmink

Mitch is one of Kyle's best friends from college and met pledging Lambda Chi Alpha. Mitch and Kyle were neighbors during college and spent many snowy nights hanging out atop the Meadowview apartments. After graduation, Mitch and Kyle moved to Raleigh where they were roommates for over 2 years. Mitch enjoys craft Bud Lite, buying Phish tickets at face value, impersonating Greg Olsen in public, and dove hunting in Gila Bend, AZ.
