We met the second week of college at Hofstra University in 2015. We were introduced by Kurts freshman year roommate, who briefly went to high school with Emily and reconnected with her on Facebook as the school year began. An instant friendship began that semester, that turned into a relationship on December 11, 2015. After spending all of college together, we moved in together in Astoria, NY after we both finished school, where Kurt works at a consulting firm and Emily works as an ICU PA. After years of Emily begging for a dog, we rescued Asher, who has made our life so much better. Kurt proposed on a trip to New Orleans on April 1st, and now we are so excited to embark on a new journey together.
