My Maid of Honor is my sister, Gracie; my first best friend, my safe place, and one of the greatest blessings in my life. From childhood memories to the woman I’ve become today, she has been by my side through it all lifting me up, protecting me, and loving me in a way only a sister can. She knows my heart better than anyone, celebrates my joys as if they were her own, and stands by me through every challenge without hesitation. Having Gracie by my side on this day means more than words could ever express. She has helped shape who I am, and I’m so grateful for the bond we share, one built on love, loyalty, laughter, and a lifetime of memories. As I step into this new chapter, it brings me so much comfort and joy knowing she is right beside me, just as she’s always been. I couldn’t imagine this moment without her. She will forever be not only my sister, but my heart, my strength, and my Maid of Honor. Forever and always sissy.

My mom is truly one of the most inspiring people in my life. Her perseverance, strength, and ability to keep going through every season of life has shaped me in more ways than I could ever explain. No matter what challenges came her way, she always carried herself with grace, love, and determination, while continuing to pour into the people around her. Watching her overcome obstacles, love unconditionally, and never give up has taught me what real strength looks like. So much of the woman I am today is because of her guidance, sacrifices, prayers, and endless support throughout my life. She has been my comfort during hard moments, my biggest encourager during exciting ones, and a constant reminder of what it means to love deeply and selflessly. Having my mom by my side during one of the most important moments of my life means so much to me. This day would not feel complete without her love, wisdom, and presence surrounding me. I am forever grateful for her, and it is such an honor to celebrate this beautiful chapter with the woman who helped shape my heart from the very beginning. I love you momma.

My dad has always been one of the calmest and most steady people in my life. He has such a big heart, and no matter what was going on around us, he always knew how to bring peace, comfort, and reassurance into the moment. Through every season of my life, he has shown up for me in quiet but meaningful ways that I will never forget. Whether it was offering advice, sitting with me through hard moments, or simply being there without needing to say much at all, his presence has always made me feel safe and supported. One of the things I admire most about my dad is his patience. He carries himself with so much gentleness and understanding, even in moments of stress or chaos. When life felt loud or overwhelming, he was always the calm in the noise the steady voice, the comforting hug, and the reminder that everything would be okay. His love has never needed to be loud to be deeply felt. I am so thankful for the example he has set for me through his kindness, strength. So much of my confidence and sense of security comes from having a father who has always been there with an open heart and steady hands. Watching the love our mom has for Keysean has been such a beautiful reflection of God’s love and faithfulness. The way she supports him, prays for him, encourages him, and pours into him with so much care says so much about the kind of woman and mother she is. Over time, she welcomed me with warmth, kindness, and such a genuine heart, and I’m so grateful for the relationship we’ve built together. Her loving spirit and the peace she carries have been such a blessing throughout this journey. One of the things I admire most about her is the way she speaks life, wisdom, and encouragement into the people she loves. She leads with grace, compassion, and faith, always reminding us to trust God through every season. Whether through her prayers, guidance, or simply the way she shows up for her family, she brings comfort and reassurance in such a meaningful way. Dad has such a quiet strength about him that makes people naturally feel safe, supported, and cared for. He leads with patience, wisdom, and humility, always showing up for his family with a steady and dependable presence. One of the things I admire most about him is how gentle he is while still being such a strong foundation for the people he loves. He brings peace into stressful moments, comfort during uncertain ones, and carries such a calm spirit that reflects both his faith and his heart for others. As I’ve gotten to know him, I’ve been so grateful for the kindness, love, and encouragement he’s shown me. Watching the way he loves and supports Keysean and his family has been incredibly special, and the example he sets through his faith and leadership is something we both deeply admire. It means so much to us that Dad will not only stand beside us on our wedding day, but also officiate our marriage as our Bishop. There truly are not enough words to express how grateful and honored we feel to have someone so meaningful to us lead us into this covenant before God. Knowing that the person marrying us is someone who has prayed for us, guided us, and spoken life into our relationship makes this moment even more special. We truly thank God for him and feel incredibly blessed to begin this next chapter with his love, covering, and support surrounding us.
