Stops & Sites

The Wedding Website of Katherine Zane and Emily Weber
We've tried to curate a recommendation list that has a little something for everything and gives you a chance to explore all the fun areas surrounding in and around Hood River. We've organized things in the following order: -Stops during the drive to Hood River -Food & drink options in Hood River -Highlights if you venture across the river to White Salmon, WA If you have extra time on the front or back end of your trip, Hood River is home to something called the Fruit Loop, which isn't nearly as gay as it sounds. A self-guided 35 mile stretch consisting of 20+ local farmsteads with fruit stands, cideries, wineries, and fields of florals awaits! There are also e-bikes, all the water sports, and hikes with breathtaking views. Reach out for specific recommendations!

Delicious food, and definitely the brewery to eat at if you're looking for food. This brewery is down on the water and will be in walking distance from the park on Saturday if you want to order takeout or sneak away for a bite.

Solstice Wood Fire Pizza - Cafe & Bar

Solstice Wood Fire Pizza - Cafe & Bar

501 Portway Avenue, Hood River, OR 97031

Can't rave enough about this place. They have a sit down restaurant with private heated huts and ~incredible~ wood fired pizzas. Because they are geniuses, they also sling pies out of a food truck in the neighboring parking lot, so these can easily be ordered to-go to eat at the park on Saturday.

Camp 1805 Distillery & Bar

Stop in here for an excellent craft cocktail or nightcap. It's right on the river so the view is A+!

White Salmon Baking Co.

White Salmon Baking Co.

80 Northeast Estes Avenue, White Salmon, WA 98672

We've actually yet to go here, but Emily has been stalking their Instagram page (Kate got off the gram) and dying to go. It's across the river in WA, but it's a coffee, breakfast, pastries, bread dream come true! Pro tip: checkout Everybody's Brewing while you're on that side of the Columbia if you want to go straight into day drinking from breakfast.

Hood River has something called the "Fruit Loop" (too many possible jokes to make there), which is a 28-stop loop with on-the-farm fruit stands, wineries, breweries, cideries, and fields of flowers. Have you ever heard of anything so amazing? Pearls Place is stop #1 on this adventure, and the website above will take you to a full list + map of all the stops
