Bride
Emily is a pretty cool person. She enjoys long walks in the sun, eating food Josiah makes her, and baking new desserts for her people. Some may say she is shy, others will say she has a big personality; and they would both be correct. As Josiah pursued Emily, he witnessed her love for family and friends, her intention to know more about the world, and her extreme goofiness involving many dance breaks in the kitchen.
Groom
When first meeting Josiah, you may get the impression that he is quiet and reserved, which he can be, however, after talking with him for five minutes, you will see the vast amount of knowledge he holds, the servants heart he has for people, and the love and loyalty he shows his community. To be known by Josiah is to be deeply loved. Aside from that, Josiah loves long bike rides, game nights, and cooking for people. As Emily pursued Josiah, she saw a life of joy, service, and intention.
Maid of Honor
Abby is Emily's long-time best friend. The two of them were friends in high school, attended college together, and have since became inseparable. From impromptu spring break trips to talking for 10 hours straight on a random Saturday, there's not much these two wouldn't do for one another.
Best Man
Sam is Josiah's college best friend. Over the years, these two have shared many late nights playing games with friends and long conversations about life and faith. And through all these years, they continue to make intentional time to see one another, even if that means driving multiple hours just for dinner.
Bridesmaid
Elsie is Emily's close friend. They quickly bonded over books, coffee shops, and their inside joke of being "weaker vessels". Elsie was one of the first people who Emily spoke to about her interest in Josiah in a late night "pass the phone back and forth using notes app" session. Throughout their relationship, Elsie has intentionally walked with Emily in providing encouragement and insight.
Groomsman
Zach Wittman is a close friend of both Emily and Josiah. Zach's house was the very place where Emily and Josiah first met, and Zach was instrumental at planting seeds of perusal between the couple. One night after Emily left small group, Zach asked Josiah if he was interested. A week later, Zach asked Emily if she was interested in Josiah. The rest is history. Thank you Zach for being an intentional friend and close confidant.
