It all started on Hinge. Emily and Josh matched, but life got busy and they didn’t connect in person right away. Still, something about him stuck so she kept him on social media because, deep down, she knew their story wasn’t finished yet. Months later, she redownloaded the app and there he was again, right where she left him. This time, she didn’t let the opportunity slip away. She invited him to join a St. Patrick’s Day party bike with her nurse friends, and from the moment they met, the laughter and connection was effortless. That day turned into something neither of them expected, the start of something real. Josh’s persistence and kindness quickly won her over, and what began as a fun outing soon grew into something much deeper. Crazy how God works, right? As they got to know each other, they realized their lives had been quietly intertwining for years; both single parents, both navigating custody journeys, both sporting matching metal plates in their left ankles from old injuries, and both having lived just 20 minutes apart in SoCal and later again in the Sacramento/Folsom area. Clearly, God had been aligning their paths long before they ever swiped right. When you know, you know, and when God writes your story, the timing is perfect. Surprise! They eloped with just their immediate family this past September, choosing to begin their marriage under the Lord’s blessing before moving in together and preparing for their greatest surprise yet… adding another boy to the crew! After being told that Emily’s chances of having another baby were only 2–5%, this little miracle is living proof that God’s plan is always greater. Kyler and Titus can’t wait to be big brothers and already adore each other so much! Buckle up! It’s about to be a joyful, lively home with three boys under one roof! Now, they can’t wait to celebrate their marriage surrounded by family and friends this May - a day to honor the love that started with a swipe, grew through faith, and keeps unfolding in the most unexpected, beautiful ways.
