Welcome to our wedding website!

Josh and I met while working at a Christian summer camp called, Pine Cove #gocones. We had our first conversation while sitting in rocking chairs on the front porch of the Timbers and our topic of discussion: Cracker Barrel. I thought Josh was nice but did not think much about our conversation. "I (Josh) on the other hand was already crushing." The weeks went on and we spent more time together, getting to know more and more about each other. Then one week, Josh decided to tell me how he felt. He leaned over to me at a Braves game and began to tell me all the qualities that he had seen in me over the last few weeks and that he really liked me and wanted to know how I felt. Things just got better from here. By the end of my time at camp, we were both smitten. The last night that we were together we were riding to our host homes on a mid bus, the glorious mid bus that started it all. Josh asked me to be his girlfriend, asked me out on a date, and kissed me TWICE all while on the ride home. How did he get away with it? One will never know but after that night, God began to grow something so wonderful between the two of us and now we get to continue through this life together in marriage!!!

Josh came to visit me the day before school started back at Auburn. It was a Sunday afternoon after we went to brunch, and he took me to a park that we had spent several dates at before. I was so suprised and so unaware of what was happening. Meanwhile, two of my best friends were hiding in bushes documenting the whole thing. Josh read a letter he had written for me from a Bible with my soon to be married name monogrammed on the front. He proposed to me with a custom ring made from the band and diamonds of my grandmother's ring and my life hasn't been the same since. We celebrated with friends and family afterwards and it was better than I ever could have imagined it to be.
