Some iconic Chicago tourism locations include Grant/Millennium Park (home of the Bean), the museum campus (Field Museum of Natural History, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium), the Art Institute of Chicago, Navy Pier, the lakefront trail (walk or bike!). Chicago has no shortage of incredible restaurants. A few faves from neighborhoods we frequent: Lula Cafe (Logan Square) - go for brunch or dinner, get the pasta yia yia, beet bruscetta, or literally anything, they never miss Chef's Special (Bucktown) - get the green beans and the dan dan noodles Beatnik (West Town/the Loop) - Emily loves the mushrooms, the whole menu is phenomenal Longman & Eagle (Logan Square) - always a great menu, thorough whiskey selection El Cid (Logan Square) - el pastor is perfect every time Sun Wah BBQ (Uptown) - get the whole duck Nhu Lan (Uptown) - Anthony Bourdain would have loved this place Hopleaf (Andersonville) - get the mussels/frites. great Belgian beers Spacca Napoli Pizzeria (Ravenswood) - not Chicago style* *any of the little red and yellow hot dog stores are going to be unbelievable. Trust.
Jordan and Emily have been on a years' long journey to identify and rank the best burgers in the city. Here are a few notable options: Red Hot Ranch (Bucktown/Lakeview) - best (and cheapest!) burger in the city, we're so serious Little Bad Wolf (Andersonville) - was number 1 until we tried Warlord Warlord (Avondale) - best *fancy burger in the city Matisse (Lakeview) - Jordan's favorite burger (Sweet Precision & Soft Collision) Mott Street (Wicker Park) - another phenomenal burger, also get the mushrooms Gretel (Logan Square) - cousins with Little Bad Wolf, a solid option.

Beyond the iconic Second City theater, we love seeing improv shows at iO (Lincoln Park) and sketch comedy at Lincoln Lodge (Logan Square).
