Question

I didn't receive a return envelope with my rsvp card, what should I do?

Answer

Oops, we forgot to include return envelopes in some invitations! We apologize for the inconvenience! Fortunately, you still have plenty of options for letting us know your plans. -You could text one or both of us -You could call one or both of us -You could email one or both of us -You could stamp and address an envelope yourself and return the rsvp card. We look forward to hearing from you! This is intentionally a small wedding so son't feel like you're inundating us with calls/texts/emails. We really and truly would love to hear from you!

Question

I'm worried about my health and safety or the health and safety of those I frequently interact with. What if I don't feel comfortable attending?

Answer

That is completely ok! We understand that the world looks very different today than it did back in February when we sent out save-the-dates. We've invited about 70 people total and we expect and understand that some people who have been invited will choose not to attend for any number of reasons, including health concerns. We want you to know that we completely understand that this is a difficult decision but that we will not be offended or upset if you choose not to attend. We will be upset if you feel sick and choose to come anyway. The health and safety of our friends and family are of the utmost importance to us. If you feel sick or have been in contact with someone who is sick, PLEASE STAY HOME.

Question

What precautions will you be taking to prevent possible viral spread among guests?

Answer

The wedding ceremony, reception, & golf outing will be occurring outdoors where the risk of viral spread is already minimized. The rehearsal dinner will be in a large banquet room with ample space between tables. We're continuing to monitor the situation & we may ask all guests wear masks if a second-wave outbreak seems imminent or is already occurring. During the ceremony, chairs will be set up in small clusters so that families can sit together while still limiting contact between different parties. Because the reception will be held under a tent, tables & chairs will be set up with adequate space between. All servers & catering staff will be wearing masks. We will likely not be dancing the night away. This is undoubtedly a disappointment to many (it is for us too) but right now the risk seems too high to encourage guests to get up & dance. We will be monitoring the public health situation & may reconsider as August 8th draws nearer. We still plan to do the traditional first dances.

Question

Is the rehearsal dinner still happening?

Answer

Yes. We will send out separate invitations for the rehearsal dinner in July. Everyone that is invited to the wedding is also invited to the rehearsal dinner.

Question

Is the groom's golf outing still happening?

Answer

Yes. We will touch base with confirmed guests in July to get a headcount and confirm tee times.
