Emily and Jon both joined AmeriCorps NCCC after they graduated college in 2018. They were placed on the same team while serving two nonprofits in Arizona, The Gila Watershed Partnership and Our Neighbors Farm and Pantry food bank. Love bloomed and after their year of service ended, Emily got a job in Boston to be closer to Jon. The rest is history! Seven years later, they are getting married!
