Omni Amelia Island Resort

While we know not everyone can commit early, we would advise you to book your room ASAP if possible. We have secured a room block with reduced rates, however rooms within the block must be booked by 5pm March 2nd, 2022 (after this they are released and we cannot guarantee the discounted rate). Please reference the Newport / Heckler wedding and don't hesitate to reach out to Jeremy or Emily with any questions. All events for the weekend will take place on The Omni property, however if you choose to stay in one of the many other options Amelia Island has, your name will be at the resort gate and you'll be able to come and go on the property for any of our weekend events!

Shuttle

Shuttle from Lobby to Venue

April 16, 2022 3:45 pm - 10:00 pm

Throughout the weekend, any event not in the main resort building will have a shuttle running for our guests from the hotel to the venue. After each event, shuttles will run for 30 minute taking guests back to the shuttle drop off area at the main hotel. Friday: Shuttles to Venue begin at 6:45 - 7:15, Shuttles Back to Hotel begin at 10pm Saturday: Shuttles to Venue begin at 3:45 - 4:15, Shuttles Back to Hotel begin at 10pm

The Jacksonville, FL Airport is the closest to Amelia Island - it is about a 45 minute drive. - Savannah Airport: 2 hour drive - ATL Airport: 5.5 hour drive Multiple rental car companies are available from any airport. If you prefer to NOT get a rental car, Amelia Transport (https://ameliatransport.com/) offers transfers back and forth to Jacksonville airport to anywhere on Amelia Island. If you're staying at The Omni you will not need to leave unless you're interested in getting out and exploring the area! Cabs are also available on Amelia Island as needed.

Amelia Island has a TON of other hotels, airbnbs, etc. While we hope that everyone is able to stay at The Omni with us, we understand that another option may better suite your needs. Some additional hotels we have found are Seaside Amelia Inn, Home2Suites, Hampton Inn, Residence Inn, and more.
