We first met when our friends organized a massive round of capture the flag with a twist: water instead of flags. We became friends from that day and saw each other here and there throughout summer and fall. That winter, we were invited to a friend's birthday party at the classiest (read: only) nightclub in the Coachella Valley - Zelda's. Sparks flew and the rest is history.

What started as a leisurely camping trip in Julian, CA turned into a lifelong memory. We took a rather long hike up a steep incline, one which neither of us had done before, to the top of a small mountain in the William Heise campground. We were exhausted once we arrived on the peak at the lookout point. We took turns looking through a non-magnified telescope at the Salton Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Jeremy then surprised me and got down on one knee to propose.
