Please use the RSVP tab on the website to RSVP and let us know your meal selection so we can provide an accurate count to the caterer. We are using a virtual RSVP because we are moving in March, so this was a better way to ensure no RSVPs get lost in the mail.
Cars are the most convenient mode of transportation. We recommend a car rental or to travel by Uber or Lyft. For those of you visiting from New Jersey, we find that Ubers/Lyfts are lower in price here than back east. If you will have a car here, please note that many places charge for parking, including hotels. Our wedding venue is one of the few venues in the city that offer free parking, however it is limited. Waymo self driving cars have also been becoming more popular in LA if you are looking for a new experience while visiting our city!
While LA has some of the best weather all year long, we do refer to this month as the June Gloom for a reason. Because it is the end of the month, it may start to warm up, but often the month of June is cloudy and cooler. (Please keep in mind that 60 degrees feels colder in LA than 60 degrees on the east cost). June often has very warm temperatures during the day and very cold temperatures in the evenings. We recommend packing pants or capris and light sweaters/sweatshirts for the evenings during your trip. The good news is that our wedding is entirely indoors (you will need to walk outside between the room the ceremony is in and the room the reception is in). We will update with a weather forecast as the date approaches.
Our dress code is semi-formal attire. We understand that you may want to wear your favorite colors, but we kindly ask that you avoid wearing green as that is part of our wedding color scheme.
Our venue is very limited in size, so to be able to celebrate with as many loved ones as possible, we will not be able to accommodate any additional guests that are not already included on your invitation. We hope you understand our decision.
Doors to the venue open at 5:45pm and will close at 6:00 pm when the ceremony begins. If you are running late, please wait until the reception to join us. The reception is located at the same venue as the ceremony and is scheduled to begin immediately following the ceremony.
We ask that our ceremony be unplugged so that our photographer can get the best photos possible. Please take as many photos as you'd like at the reception though!
Absolutely! The venue will be serving a chicken dish with pasta and vegetables for the entree, but there are gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options available. Please let us know your restrictions and we will work with the caterer to make sure your meal is right for you!
Yes! Unfortunately, the venue does not allow hard liquor, but we will have beer, wine, and bubbly available (and soft drinks of course!)
The welcome dinner will be on Friday, June 27th at 6 pm, in Encino, CA. We will be serving street tacos. An official after party has not yet been planned, but in a bustling city like LA we have many options. We will provide updates as details become available.
Whether you're looking to get your hair or nails done, a restaurant, or an activity, just ask us! You can visit the Things To Do tab for our favorite activities and places to eat in LA, but this city has so much to offer, we'd be working for weeks to include it all on this website! If there's something you're looking for that's not listed let us know and we'll help you find it!
We understand most of our guests are coming in from the East coast or other parts of the country, and that travel and hotel rooms are quite expensive. We are not anticipating receiving any gifts for this reason, as we just want to celebrate with you without causing any additional stress from the expectations of gifts. We have had a few people ask for a registry already, so we did create one to help give ideas of things we like, but again it is no obligation.
