Things To Do
Mount Hood
Mt Hood is the closest mountain we will be around during our stay. The drive to the lodge up top is about an hour, it’s super beautiful, the drive up is 100% worth it!
Timberline Lodge
The coolest Lodge on Mt Hood. The outside of the Shining hotel, huge ski lodge, lots to do just at this resort! Definitely worth the visit if you are driving up Mt Hood.
Multinomah Falls
My personal favorite spot in Oregon. It’s about a steep 1 mile hike up top, but the entire area has multiple waterfalls to explore. It’s pretty easy to drive around to see multiple of them. Latourell Falls is where we had our engagement photos, and it’s usually less crowded.
Cannon Beach
A great day trip is Canon Beach. It’s definitely worth trying to make it to the coast at least once, and this is our top recommendation by a long shot!
Silver Falls State Park
Hike a super steady 8 miles and see a ton of waterfalls! About a couple hours out from where we are located, but still a beautiful area!
Vista House at Crown Point
A must see if you are coming into Portland. Should be on the way to where we are, and it’s such an easy quick stop. Absolutely gorgeous view of the Columbia River Gorge. Probably my second favorite spot in Oregon.
WA Parks Mt Saint Helens Interpretive Center
Go see the volcano that erupted in Washington in the 80’s! Super cool sight to see, the visitor center and the view is absolutely stunning.
