Jennifer
Mother of the Bride
Jennifer is Emily's mother. She will be accompanied down the aisle by her oldest son, Emily's big brother, Michael. Jen prides herself on being a mother and friend to all and enjoys when her home is full. She has been such a strong role model for Emily and we are so thrilled to have her be a part of our wedding.
Bryan
Father of the Bride
Bryan is Emily's father and will be accompanying her down the aisle. He is originally from Virginia and attended college at JMU. He has many hobbies including serving on the board for a local charity. Bryan is one of the few people capable of calming Emily's nerves, and always the first call when things get tough.
Kristin
Mother of the Groom
Kristin is James's mother and will be accompanying him down the aisle. She has been a teacher for many years and loves being a mom to her 3 children (and one more on the way!), including Bailey and new baby Colton. We both always look forward to Kristin being the life of the party, and she's been such a big supporter of James.
Ben
Father of the Groom
Ben is James's father. He takes pride in being a history teacher and loves taking Travis on camping trips. He also enjoys fishing on his days off. He's been a steady voice of reason for James and has the best dad jokes!
Jason
Officiant
Jason is Emily's uncle (Bryan's brother) and our officiant. He is the Rector (head Pastor) of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit in San Antonio. He is the father of two children, Emma and Jacob. Marlie
Ring Bearer
Marlie is Emily's first dog. Emily got Marlie as a puppy and they have been attached at the hip ever since. Marlie loves swimming, doing puzzles and chasing squirrels outside!
Willow
Ring Bearer
Willow is our second baby, and is James's actual other half. We got her after moving into our current apartment, after graduating college. Willow is a bit shy and loves hiding under furniture, as well as playing with her toys.
Rebecca
Dog Chauffeur (Marlie)
Rebecca is Emily's sister and will be assisting Marlie down the aisle. She is currently a Senior in high school and enjoys going to car shows and relaxing at the lake. She wants everyone to know that she is very funny!
Travis
Dog Chauffeur (Willow)
Travis is James's first brother and will be assisting Willow down the aisle. He is currently in 9th grade and enjoys boy scouts, fishing and playing video games.
Bailey
Flower Girl
Bailey is James's younger sister and one of our two flower girls. She is in 3rd grade and loves singing, dancing, drawing and playing with her Legos and dolls. She wants to be a dentist when she grows up!
Hadley
Flower Girl
Hadley is James's cousin and one of our two flower girls. She is in 2nd grade and loves swimming, making TikToks, and playing with her new pet rats! Don't let her dresses and bows fool you, she also enjoys fishing, catching frogs and riding the 4-wheeler.
Philip
Usher
Philip is Emily's second brother. He is currently serving in the Air Force in Alaska and enjoys hiking, practicing his mixology skills, and doing the weekly crosswords.
Thomas
Usher
Thomas is Emily's third brother and one of our three ushers. He recently graduated high school and is serving in the Navy. He has recently completed basic training and we are so excited to see where he goes next!
John
Usher
John is Emily's fourth brother and one of our three ushers. He is currently a Senior in high school and enjoys working on cars and fishing in his free time. John is also working part-time at Starbucks saving up for all of his car upgrades.
Michael
Matchmaker
Michael (A.K.A Mike) is Emily's oldest brother and also our matchmaker! While it's quite unusual for a big brother to hold this title, we wouldn't have it any other way. Michael enjoys computers and making great conversation. Take a moment to thank him, as we are all here because of him!
