We each went to Camp Ramah Darom and spent time in high school in the same youth group (USY) but never knew each other, despite having mutual friends. Fate decided in 2020 that we would both be in Gainesville over winter break, where we matched on J-Swipe, a Jewish dating app. We hit it off from the start and made it official a few days later, just in time for New Year's.
