Riverwalk Boat Tour
One of the first times Glen came up to visit, Emily took him on a Chicago River boat tour so he could see the city! On the tour you learn about some of the history of the buildings/city and see some of the most beautiful views of the city. You can also walk up and down the riverwalk and have a bite to eat. Variety of different restaurants and bars! If you are feeling adventurous you can even rent a kayak and boat down the river.
Millennium Park
Right down the street- off Michigan Ave, you can walk 15 minutes to Millennium Park! On your way there are a ton of shops/restaurants and a great photo op in front of the famous Bean!
Navy Pier Wheel
For Emily's 21st birthday, Glen, Emily, Grace and Jack took a ferris wheel ride at Navy Pier to see a full view of the city from the lake!
Wrigleyville
Home to the Chicago Cubs! A fun neighborhood to visit offering many restaurants and bars.
Lincoln Park Zoo
Free zoo where you can see all the cute animals!

If you want Chicago style deep dish pizza, BEST place to get it! 8 minute walk or 4 minute Uber drive from The Gwen.
O’Briens Riverwalk Café
If you want a casual lunch place and a great view of the river! 10 minutes from The Gwen! There are also more restaurants up and down the Riverwalk if you want to explore!
