When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP for the wedding by August 1, 2026 through our website- it will be indicated on the formal wedding invitation. RSVP will be open soon! The final day for booking a room at The Gwen with the discount is August 25, 2026.

Is there a dress code?

Yes! Formal attire is requested (suit/tie and dresses).

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot allow all children/babies due to limited space. If children are allowed, this will be clearly stated on the invitation and include their names.

Are photographs allowed during ceremony?

Answer

We are requesting you to be fully present and asking that no photos will be taken during our ceremony. We have a professional photographer to capture our important moments.

Parking

Answer

Ceremony Parking: Free covered parking is provided for wedding guests in the 311 West Illinois building, just east of the church. The parking entrance is on Franklin Street. Reception/guest at The Gwen: Valet parking is available to hotel guests at The Gwen; current rate of $84.00 per night. Please note pricing is subject to change without notice. Self Park: 516 N. Rush St. If you park the car (no in and out privileges) during your stay, we can provide a validation ticket at check-out. This validation ticket will allow for a $45.00 per 24 Hrs. rate. Spot Hero: Free app that allows you to choose where to park at various price ranges all over the city.
