Emily and Franco first met to split some margaritas and queso dip. After a few more dates and a few more margaritas, they started their journey on 11-17-2017. The first year of their relationship had them traveling the country and globe to meet family and friends who constantly asked if "they are the one?". Their relationship continued to grow as they found similar interests in sports, food, life in New Orleans, and French Bulldogs. Emily and Franco decided to take their adventure abroad in 2019 and moved to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Emily taught at a prestigious international school while Franco started working remotely in his new career as a software developer. Once 2020 happened, Franco and Emily decided it was time to establish some roots where they found love. They packed their new pup Magnolia, and returned home. After spending quarantine with Franco's family & saving up, Franco and Emily purchased their first home in Gretna, LA in 2021. They are building their life together piece by piece.
