Most people don't believe it actually works, but Emily and Ghrae met for the first time on a dating app, and have been inseparable ever since. After flirting with each other for a week straight using the most unhinged gifs and coming up with the funniest questions to get to know each other they decided it was time to meet in person. Ghrae arrived almost 2 hours early, making the hour long drive up to Lake Geneva so Emily didn't have to drive too far. To her credit, Emily spent 3 hours trying to pick out the perfect outfit, having her friends Kira and Sarah veto any outfit they deemed unfit for a first date. Both were SUPER nervous to meet for the first time, but within seconds of making eye contact, both broke out into the BIGGEST smiles. The date lasted for almost 5 hours, ending in them actually getting kicked out because the restaurant was closing for the night. They talked about everything under the sun, bonding over their shared faith and surprisingly similar upbringings. At one point, Ghrae had to tell Emily that she could actually take a bite of food and continue the conversation after, since it had been about 30 minutes since the food delivered and she had yet to take a bite. Since then the two could always be found near the other.
