Graeter's Ice Cream is an iconic Cincinnati treat. Definitely get something with the chocolate chips.
We love Melt! I (Emily) took Evan here the first time he visited Cincinnati and we come back every time we are in town. Casual, new american, healthy comfort food.
If you are eating at Melt, make sure to stop in at Shake It Records afterward!
Don't miss Findlay Market! This huge combined outdoor and indoor market is full of vendors selling everything wonderful- delicious prepared meals, fresh local produce, artisanal cheese, flowers, handmade crafts, you name it. From here explore downtown and the hip Over the Rhine neighborhood.

Make a combined stop at Krohn Conservatory and Eden Park, then drive through Mt Adams for charming architecture and cute shops and restaurants.
Emily walked past this coffee shop, one of Cincinnati's best, everyday on her way home from middle school. It is located across the street from a private home built by an architecture professor that looks like a funky fairy mushroom house. From here check out Ault Park for beautiful gardens and walking trails.
This ice cream shop is straight out of the 50's. As a little girl Emily always looked forward to stopping here on the way to visit her grandparents.
