Mountain Top Inn & Resort
Mountain Top has SEVERAL on-site activities for folks to take advantage of. Depending on the weather this can include: xc ski/snowshoe trail passes, ice rink passes & our sledding hill
Pico Mountain Ski Lodge
A local ski mountain in Rutland, close to Mountain Top. The mountain typically closes mid-April - so it will likely be open during wedding weekend.
Killington Ski Area
They also have snow tubing - no skill needed!
Rutland Downtown Historic District
On Saturdays there is a large Farmer's Market with local VT products.
Burlington
Church Street is commonly rated as one of the nicest cities in the US to visit. A very walkable main street with locals commonly from Quebec (french speaking!)
Montpelier
Another cute downtown area to explore. This is Vermont's State capital. If you're lucky, you may run into Bernie.
Montreal
If you want to make a TRUE cool trip out of this - Montreal is on the other side of the border in Canada. It is a 3-hour drive north of Mountain Top, a little less than 2 hours from Burlington, Vermont. Montreal is a very special city, a true French European experience.
Boston
A fabulous trip between NJ and VT. Boston is 3 hours away (South) from Mountain Top.
